CAS Member Prof. Chunli Bai Gives Academic Lecture
|
A series of academic lectures are organized as one of the celebrating activities for the 55th anniversary of GRINM. On June 29th, Prof. Chunli Bai, the Standing Vice President of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), was specially invited to give an academic lecture entitled “Challenges on Nano Science and Technology”. Prof. Bai pointed out three aspects of high attention to carry out nano research, firstly, fabricating nano structure and nano materials with outstanding performance; secondly, designing and manufacturing nano devices; thirdly, probing and analyzing the properties and phenomenon in the nano area. Prof. Bai also talked about some other challenge issues such as the high speed, repeatable and low cost process for nano-size components. President Hailing Tu hosted the meeting and more than 200 research people and graduate students actively participated in the lecture.
